Project description

This projects concerns the Maintenance/ Restoration and the new extension of listed building. It involves the Municipal Market of the Old Town Hall and the creation of a new Research Centre in this area. The projects includes the construction of a basement, ground floor and mezzanine on a previously existing building. The building is constructed with a load-bearing body of reinforced concrete and brick masonry. The whole building is divided by joints into four sections. Some of the work categories that will be performed are:

• Demolition of structures such as the external masonry of the existing building and the fish shop.
• Excavations for basement expansion and to reveal foundation
• Reinforcements of a load-bearing body
• New metal structural construction
• Reinforced concrete works
• Elevator and Electromechanical installations
