On Tuesday 10th November, LOIS Builders was certified with the «SIR 2014» (Sound Industrial Relations) award at a ceremony that took place as part of the programme ‘Sound Industrial Relations – Contemporary Business’, co-funded by the Cyprus Government and the European Social Fund of the European Union.
The business accreditation model «SIR 2014» is an important tool for the consolidation, understanding and correct implementation of Cypriot Labour legislation and practise within the workplace in Cyprus. Of particular importance is the value and focus given to working rights, whilst in parallel the incorporation of best practises and the improvement of policies which are related to corporate aims and objectives.
Lois Builders, true to their corporate values, is one of just 30 companies across the whole of Cyprus to have been recognised with the «SIR 2014» award and continues to reinforce and boost its organisational structure and the efficiency of its employees by applying specific targets and practises as defined in the strategic plan of the Company.
Given the challenges and pressure businesses face in recent times due to the economic crisis, the accreditation of LOIS Builders with this Award is of particular importance since it confirms once again its anthropocentric character based on continuous personal development, excellent working relations, health and safety in the workplace and above all equality in employment.
